1957 MiloCraft Runabout Wooden Boat, 16 Ft.
This is a complete and rare boat that needs full restoration.
Molded Mahogany hull (similar to Yellowjacket boats), made by MiloCraft in Chicago. Hull shell is in decent condition but solid wood transom needs rot repair. The boat needs complete refastening as original steel screws have rusted. The plywood deck, trim, hardware, and windshield have been removed. All this material is included although the 1/4″ plywood deck boards are suitable for patterns only.
See the vintage boat show picture (c. 1983) for what the boat should look like put back together. I have a few more pictures like this as well as many documenting the disassembly process to guide restoration.
Includes the original 1957 Evinrude Lark 35Hp Electric Start Outboard. Motor will not turn over due to water damage, but bonnet with chrome trim is in good condition.
Includes all original trim, controls, cushions and windshield.
Includes original 1950’s trailer. Trailer is not roadworthy but will make it easy to load onto a flat trailer.
