1960’s Clipper Craft “barn find” for sale.
This boat was included in the sale of a farm I bought this year and I would like to sell it to a good home. Unfortunately I do not know very much about this boat and the previous owner is deceased. It is a Clipper Craft brand, and I understand it was built in Portland, sometime in the 1960’s. It is made of mahogany, is beautifully made, and very well preserved having been kept covered in an enclosed barn. I have never taken it out of the barn or tried to start the engine. It needs work, as some cables that control the steering and throttle are not connected. I’m sure it needs other work as well because it has been stored for so long. Included is the Evinrude motor. The motor is absolutely spotless inside and looks brand new. Boat and trailer is sold “as is.” I have the title to the boat and trailer. I also have a small Clipper Craft rowboat that was built as a kit and is also for sale.
If you are interested in this boat please contact me for more information. I listed the price, but I am not sure what this boat is worth. My phone number is 619-804-0776.
Woodyboater.com responded to an email inquiry I sent them about the boat, and here is a link to the post:
